Durangos Mexican Restaurant in Oshkosh

My wife and I enjoyed a very nice meal here it's easy to find right off of Highway 41. Their chips were fresh their salsa pico de gallo queso was delicious with the fresh warm chips. I had myself my favorite shrimp tacos very good my wife had the chicken burritos and she said they were also very good.They have adequate parking that's free handicap access handicap tables and restrooms. I highly recommend this restaurant because they have some very authentic dishes not all are Americanized. If you get their jumbo Margarita as golden with the Grand Marnier on the side in a shot glass that's the best way to go. Service is always friendly food is always fresh and tasty. Restrooms are clean but could use some updating. Easy to find right off the main road. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did. This is our 15th visit.

Had a Chicken Chimechanga was served nice and hot. Chips and Salsa were great too.

Rice was over cooked, also was mushy. Forgot details like no sour cream, could tell they remember after it was on the plate, they just scraped it off and tried to cover with guacamole. Forgot lemon in drink. Fast service though.

I love Durango's, they make their food quick and it is so good. They serve chips and salsa and make sure to ask for the bean dip for the chips. That is amazing.

Good food, hasent been a busy lately.

This is a family owned Mexican restaurant in Oshkosh where I recently had dinner. Complimentary chips and salsa were served immediately. The tortilla chips were average, but the salsa was excellent. I ordered the steak fajitas substituting the tomatoes with extra onions and it was great. i also ordered the guacamole which wasn't made tableside, but I could tell it was made fresh to order. Excellent guacamole only second to a Mexican restaurant in the Milwaukee area that makes it at your table. I highly recommend Durango's since I know the further you drive north from Milwaukee the more difficult it becomes to find a good Mexican restaurant and Durango's is quality Mexican fare.

Durango's is a favorite restaurant when we come to Oshkosh for the EAA AirVenture. The servers are friendly, despite the crowd. The food is fresh and hot, and the Margaritas cold and tasty. The prices are reasonable.

I love their chicken chimmies and service! Very reasonably priced, delicious, and friendly!

Love the sizzling Texas fajitas. And the guacamole? Wow! The best I've ever had anywhere. There's a richness to it that makes it so good. Please don't ever change that recipe.

Durangos is one of the better Mexican restaurants in oshkosh. It used to be our favorite years ago but we had a couple of subpar experiences and stopped coming. After a about a year we decided to start coming again and have been very happy with the level of service. The issues we had generally have been with slow service from the wait staff but it seems that those individuals are not there any more. The current staff has been great! We are happy to have given Durangos another go.

Durango’s is a good Mexican restaurant. The enchiladas were very good, both the traditional shredded beef and chicken verdes. The shredded beef used in all the dishes was delicious. Hot salsa is served with the chips upon request and - be warned - it is HOT! Good job Durango’s! They also have Bohemia beer! The tacos were disappointing (mainly because the shells were more the Old El Paso kind instead of a deep-fried tortilla type.) The burrito and chile relleno we ordered were served with a salty and boring red sauce. Did not like the rice at all. And the chips were more Tostidos than El Rey. Finally, our booth was way too small and the people sitting behind us kept pushing back from their side, so we had to lean forward to avoid getting motion sickness.🙃We’ll go again and give it another try, this time focusing on their specialty menu!

I went there with my brother and a friend of his. I ordered the fish tacos dinner. The order came with three tacos, rice and beans. Fish was excellent and chased that with a beer. All was good 😊👍

We love this place, they used to have more Spanish speaking help...

Wait staff was kind and friendly, cook messed the order up 2 times. They made up for it by comping my meal - thank you for that. Rice was a little bland tasting. Not sure if I will return for another meal.

The food all came out really quickly and all of the food we ordered was delicious!!!!
